I forgot to take my sleeping medicine tonight, so it looks like it will be a long night of restlessness and anxiety. Tomorrow is going to suck, big time.
On those days where the sadness feels like it will tear you apart and you feel like at any moment you may collapse under the weight of it, do something.
Do something nice for someone. Play with the neighbor’s kids. Call your family. Go for a walk. Listen to loud music. Take a shower. Do something.
Don’t sit and let the sadness consume you.
Find a way to let some light back in.
